He is a lifelong Monmouth County native, growing up in Colts Neck, where his parents still reside today.

For almost a decade now Jeff has called Holmdel home - along with his wife Jennifer and two

children—Jackson (13) and Julia (10), both students in the Holmdel School District.

As a business owner with more than 60 employees, Jeff brings real-world leadership and financial expertise to the board. He currently operate three thriving businesses, where Jeff is directly responsible for profit and

loss  management, strategic planning, and team development. His hands-on experience balancing budgets, optimizing operations and making data-driven decisions translates into fiscally responsible stewardship for the Holmdel district.

When first elected to the Board of Education, Jeff ran on a platform of educational excellence, parental rights, transparency, and budget prudence - He remains committed to those principles, with intent to protect

and build upon the success of Holmdel’s schools, which consistently rank among New Jersey’s top-

performing districts and he strongly believes that open communication, community involvement, and smart financial oversight are key to continued success.

When not working or serving the community, Jeff enjoys fishing, home improvement projects, and spending quality time with my family. It's always family first—and that same mindset guides my work on behalf of Holmdel’s students, parents, and educators.

With a strong record, deep roots in the community, and a clear vision for the future, Jeff  ready to continue serving Holmdel with integrity, transparency, and dedication.

As a lifelong Holmdel resident and proud product of our school system, John brings a unique perspective to the BOE.

After attending all four Holmdel schools and graduating from Holmdel High School in 1998, John understands firsthand the transformative power of quality education and the importance of strong community support.

During his time at HHS, John demonstrated the dedication and teamwork that continues to define his approach today. He was a key member of back-to-back state championship basketball teams and earned All-State recognition in football, experiences that taught him the value of collaboration, perseverance, and striving for excellence.

John also showed his leadership abilities by serving as the founding member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter at HHS, helping to establish an organization focused on serving the local community by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel.

John carried these principles to Lehigh University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance while competing on the varsity football team, which consistently ranked in the top 10 nationally from 1998 to 2001. This experience reinforced his belief in balancing academic achievement with personal development.

Today, John applies his strategic thinking and analytical skills as a corporate real estate advisor, developing comprehensive real estate strategies for leading global pharmaceutical companies. His track record of success demonstrates his ability to deliver results through careful planning and execution.

Most importantly, John is deeply invested in Holmdel's future as a devoted husband to his wife Carisa and father to sons Henry (6) and Charlie (4), who will be starting at Village School this fall. This personal stake in our schools' success drives his commitment to ensuring every Holmdel student receives the exceptional education our community deserves.

John's combination of local roots, professional expertise, and personal investment in our schools makes him uniquely qualified to help guide Holmdel's educational excellence into the future.

Dr. Schroeter was born and raised in Monmouth County. Growing up in Lincroft, he attended all public schools: Lincroft, Thompson & Middletown South.

Through middle school and high school Dr. Schroeter participated in numerous activities, such as Student Council, Ski Club and German Club, and sports, such as soccer, baseball, wrestling, track & field (2 year letter winner), and swimming (4 year letter winner & Team Captain with 2 NJ State Championship  appearances). After years of hard work and dedication, Dr. Schroeter was awarded the Eagle Scout rank, an honor he still very proud of today.

Outside of school, he swam for Red Bank YMCA and lifeguarded for several years at Sandy Hook & Belmar. Dr Schroeter graduated high school in 1993 as a member of the German Honor Society and the National Honor Society.

Dr. Schroeter attended Rutgers University, where once again he was very active in the community and sports. He was a 4 year member of the Rutgers Ski Team and eventually became president of his fraternity, overseeing numerous community outreach events & activities.

He graduated Rutgers with a BS in Exercise Science/Kinesiology & Sports Studies. After Rutgers, Dr. Schroeter was accepted to attend New York Chiropractic College, where he graduated as Salutatorian of his class in 2002.

Dr. Schroeter opened his own practice, Lincroft Chiropractic & Wellness Center, in 2005. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the practice! Dr. Schroeter is proud to be able to serve the families of Monmouth county for all these years by helping them feel their best and achieve optimal wellness naturally!

Dr. Schroeter and his wife Suzanne moved to Holmdel in 2013 and started their family here. They are the proud parents of Thomas (6th grade) & Bella (4th grade), both at Indian Hill School this year.

Dr. Schroeter is very involved in the community with his wife & children, and is proud to call Holmdel his home. The family is very active with sports, Scouts and outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, swimming, surfing & skiing.

Dr. Schroeter is ready to bring his life experiences and multiple perspectives to the Holmdel Board of Education. He feels his years as a leader, health care provider  & small business owner, will help greatly. He also has the point of view of an educator, as his mom was a teacher, and his wife Suzanne is a public school based speech pathologist. This is an invaluable asset. And lastly, he has the unique perspective of our seniors, as his mother in law Michele lives with the family. She is very involved with different Holmdel Senior groups and activities.

Dr. Schroeter is excited to continue the great work that this board of education has already achieved in the past few years, and looks forward to working together with Holmdel families, faculty & Dr. Cascone to continue to raise the bar of Holmdel educational excellence and
